The UK MOT emissions software is now modified to enable the operator to select between traditional engine speed and temperature measurement and EOBD measurement during MOT testing.

For BEA 850 PC based equipment: the BEA 850 will require the addition of a KTS module. Any of the KTS 5 series modules can be used. However, the new KTS 515 will be ideal as a budget EOBD fault code reader with the benefit of wireless connection. The new KTS 515 is a PC based EOBD fault code reader featuring the same Bluetooth technology as the more powerful KTS 540 and KTS 570 modules. The KTS 515 replaces the KTS115 and does not require a software contract.

For BEA150, 250 and 350 Processor based equipment: an additional KTS board is available as an upgrade option. The KTS board fits into a specific location within the processor and is supplied with a standard 16pin OBD cable. Please note: Removing the cover of the BEA 150, 250 and 350 to install the upgrade kit will break the UKAS calibration seal. Therefore an authorised Bosch calibration engineer will be required to install & reseal the unit.

EOBD upgrade Kit fitted during a calibration visit is on special offer for £500.00 (excluding VAT).
